    Bet all NFL home teams
real refs are naturally biased towards the home team due to the crowd and with heavy animosity building up towards the replacement refs, these guys are gonna be shytting their pants and catering their calls towards the home team.

    the heat is on

      home teams 19-12-1 ats

Need some stats on flags thrown for home vs away. Last night they gave ryan a flag 10 seconds later after he demanded it.

far as refs and home teams go, stl got raped left and right at home..week 1 if anything the gm was called way more to sf liking in gb ( they fixed that week 2 tho)...funny how every1 who lost on den blames refs when i can name a bunch of things that were called poorly in den favor.. refs are trash and maybe so far these incompetent clowns have given home team more breaks but isnt it possible it coincidence if it even fact?

14/16 that's almost sexual. Anyone backtracked this stuff out?

It's about the replacement refs, who have no experience at this level at all.

It seems an interesting short term angle. Had the same thought that these refs would rather please the home crowd while watching the Atlanta game on MNF.

                        Yeah, two weeks of 'm.

If the theory works, then then loudest stadiums may be the most intimidating to these refs.

yea this whole ref thing is getting out of control and it is getting more and more press every week, we just havent had the one mistake call that actually decides the game, soon my friends it will happen

I think the bullshit Roughing the Passer call (and missed blindside hit on Lee on the same play) in week 2 cost DAL the game.

Obviously, you can't look at one week's numbers and call it gospel since its such a small sample, but I'd rather put faith in a potential trend and bet it then be the guy posting obsolete stats after 150 games.

real referees have been put through the ringer and are basically as inhuman as possible emotionally, and they've been proven to STILL favor home teams. these replacement refs are like your mailmen or your neighbor or your favorite uncle. They have NFL team fan affiliation in their facebook profiles, they talk to LeSean McCoy about fantasy football, etc

most people agree NFL lines are impossibly sharp. so why don't we actually take a look at the one aspect that is unprecedented and a curveball to them and try to use it to our advantage

Books putting a huge emphasis on HFA in football this year, NFL and NCAA. Backing a road fav. is not the thing to do right now.

Listening to some podcast the other day, the 'capper was saying something like home teams have been winning at an 80% something clip. Compared to previous seasons just above 55%.

Books were on this angle before the season started. They're going to tee it up for us soon enough.
