Why are NFl officials on strike(lockedout)?

stupid question but Ive yet to hear on ESPN or any other program what the strike is about. It was very clear Why the NFLPA and NBAPA were on strike.

Are the Ref's lockouted over Increased wage demands, benefits, whats the deal.

some bullshit about the refs wanting the same 3% wage increase they got last time around(3 yrs ago I believe) and the NFL say no way
