So basically i'm predicting big public sides in the nfl will be slight winner this upcoming week but in the big monday/sunday night games books will win to offset/give the squares some hope so they dont quit betting altogether.

I think it is hard to argue the book isn't beating us - the proverbial us - for the first 2 or 3 weeks, depending on what we are talking about, NFL in this instance.

Add the perception that the NFL is all fukked up right now, and that bettors got lost in the hype and made bad, and big bets early into the season, the betting public might be getting a little worried right now.

It sucks having to wait a week for games. They should play mid week games. Once a week is not enough. So much talk of this and that...just play some games. That's why it's hard to predict. Hard to tell who will show up from week to week to cover. At least in baseball u know who's hot daily and u just ride the streak.
