I also feel real confident on the Broncs with Quinn at the helm. This seems like a move that was pushed by Savage and the front office, which is never a good idea. Crennel had talked just hours ago about how Anderson was his QB, so it makes you think. Hopefully Quinn isn't ready and this is an overreaction. He's got a short week of practice with 1st team reps too.

Stupid move by the Browns. The problem with the Browns is they can't play 60 mins of football on offense and defense. Against the Ravens they played solid on offense and defense for almost 3 quarters and they were up 27-13. Late in the 3rd the Browns defense disappeared and the offense couldn't get a first down if their life depended on it.

I am on the Denver ml after I heard about the Quinn news...I mean this guy hasn't played for real since Notre Dame, everyone knows he is overrated or else they wouldn't have been holding on so tight to anderson. Everyone is saying this was what the fans wanted, not the coaches and the fans don't know squat.

This has me firmly on the Broncos as well. Brady Quinn is the next Alex Smith, and the decision to start him this week is purely to curry fan favor. The front office has wanted to push him into the spotlight so that he can do more than those corny EAS Myoplex commercials. They picked this game not because Derek Anderson wasn't serviceable anymore, but that they wanted Quinn all along and a game vs. a lousy pass defense is their way of "easing him in". After 2 INTs and nothing on the scoreboard at halftime, we'll see the Moose From Scappoose again. He's a former Beaver, and as we all know, hell hath no fury like a Beaver's scorn.
