While I've grown to appreciate your intellectual banter and your Matt Damon-like understanding of linear equations, theory of probability, and inefficient markets.

Help me understand, why the arrogance?

sorry its a reflex to ignorance of how lines actually work, its one thing to be a casual bettor and not have a full grasp its quite another to be someone who claims to be able to beat books and then picks games based on things like a starter's record vs a certain team or the home team being 8-1 in their last 9.....or in this case a guy telling me about "wiseguy" picks

You stated you came here in search of insight, knowledge, ect. Provide some first, you'd be surprised the level of wisdom this forum contains when you aren't a pompous a$$.
