With such a great showing by Denver over Pitt and a decent performance of Atlanta, just really surprised of why Atlanta is favored

shocking to me that den does what they are supposed to do at home which is beat a team that hates playing in denver then all a sudden everyone wants to jump on Peytons and the broncos nuts on the road in one of the toughest stadiums to get a road win the last however many years? how often does atl lose at home? not fukkin very i know that, not sure how perception got so twisted in this one as i figured folks were high on atl as well but for some unknown reason to me ppl seem to have forgotten where Peyton is playing on monday night, that the dirty birds house and they protect it quite freaking well.... falcons will tone down the no huddle and give den porous run d a taste of turner early and often to keep peyton off the field then when the d is gassed in the 2nd half ryan and co will outpace den to do what atl always seems to do at home,,WIN.. gl, you gonna need it...

I could not agree more.Perfect write up for this game.Dont over think it(which a lot of people are doing) and just pound ATL.I think the 3 points are generous of the odds makers.ATL by 7-10 was my thought.Manning looked great last week, but will play diffrent in the low altitude and indoors!

Maybe but Atlantas defense is more porous. They looked horrible vs the chiefs.

When Manning played for the Colts (his entire NFL career) he played at Lucas Oil Stadium - which has a retractable roof and replaced RCA dome I think in 2008. He's probably more comfortable indoors than any other place.

I have to admit I'm subjective in this game which is never good but at least I can acknowledge it. Both offenses can be explosive I give offensive edge to Atlanta but Defensive edge to Denver. Champ Bailey is going all out this game (Georgia is his home and he's clearly excited about that given how many tickets he's bought for the game) and Porter looked like a beast vs. Pitt. I could be wrong but last time these 2 teams met in Atlanta was 2008 where Denver edged them 24-20. I'd also be concerned that the Falcons gave up 393 total yards to the KC Chiefs last week of all teams. Manning was solid last week vs. Steelers but not as much as people realize. If you take away the 71 yard pass to D. Thomas his stats were 18/25 for 182 with 1/0 and QB rating 105.7. Solid numbers but not amazing, with about 7 yards per attempt. On the flip side W. Moore is expected to be a key defensive player for the Falcons. Last week he had 7 tackles an interception a pass defended and other good stops. Atlanta is also without a key defensive player this week (I'm blanking on the name right now).

Lots of random thoughts but should be considered when capping this game.

The over seams too easy, especially with key ATL. D-backs out. Ty warren for denver is done for the year, though just a run stopper. Taking the under with these two quarterbacks in a dome: not a good idea. I am going over and waiting for alot of pass interference calls!

I can't bet against Peyton Manning, in prime time, in a dome. It's counter intuitive to me. I know I'm just a small time square, betting based on emotion, (although I was on AZ yesterday) but Jones and White are going to have a hard time against Bailey and Porter. The Denver front seven are really good. I'm probably wrong but I'm taking the points.
