Just for example, Cleveland D-Line pushed the Eagles O-line all over the place last week, while Baltimore's D pushed Cincy's O-line around. Fast forward one week later, Baltimore's D-line was kept at bay by Phillie's O-line fairly easily. Cincy scored plenty on Cleveland, so it's not like Cleveland is a great defense.
That's just the first example I thought of. But routinely, week to week, offensive and defensive lines have no rhyme or reason to why they perform poorly or well. Is there any way to cap this?
