Hey SBR peeps!
So it's been nearly 7 years since I've posted on SBR and since I've gambled! Yes, 7 years of gambling abstinence, aside from the occasional house poker get together, but getting married can certainly cause that! Yet after many years of explaining, and prepping the wifey about what sports gambling really entails, she's finally willing to give me a chance to show her that it isn't a one way street to bankruptcy. And naturally I'm a bit nervous because as everyone knows it's about the long term, ups and downs, and I hope it doesn't start out too rough where the wifey starts to say "I told you so".
As I've done before, but didn't really get a chance to do on SBR before my break, I explain that I don't claim to have "angles" or have a divine way of predicting winners. I just simply research as much as I can and use my best judgement after hearing as much argument from both sides of the coin on forums such as this one. Naturally I have my own opinions at times but generally as I do with everything else, such as with politics, religion or any other hotly debatable issues, I try to listen to my opposition more so and see if I can be convinced to think otherwise. That's really all it is. Nothing new, nothing special...just being as practical as possible. And ironically enough, it works quite often.
This week I have several plays and no they aren't locks, they aren't "Free" money, just the best games according to my research and all the opinions I could find and be willing to put some money on!
Early Games:
Giants -7
Patriots - 13.5
Raiders -2.5
Ravens +3
Raiders 1H -.5
Late Games:
Jets +5
Cowboys -3
Redskins -3.5
SNF:
Broncos +3
Playing 1 Unit each play. Time to hopefully show to the wifey what's up! GL everyone and hoping for a prosperous season on my first full season back with SBR!
