When the line was Skins -1.5 I thought it was a joke. Now that it's heading toward -3, it's time to jump back in the water.

- Last week, even with 4 INTs, Steelers were about to beat arguably the best team in the NFL (Giants) and would have done so if not for the botched snap that went for a safety late in the game.

- Skins have beat some paper tigers this year but are about to face the #1 defense in the league, Portis will not top 85 yards. The Steelers have allowed a 100-yd rusher only 3 times in their last 140 games! If Portis can't get it going, the pressure will be put on Campbell to deliver....that's not good.

- Santana Moss is not 100% and neither is Cooley.

- Pittsburgh gets back Willie Parker and Santonio Holmes for Monday's game, both were out last week. Big Ben won't be pressured, Skins are near the bottom of the league in sacks and takeaways.

BOTTOM LINE: Skins are about to face a terrific defense and an improved offense, Steelers will be able to shut down the one-trick pony Skins (Portis) and minimize Sanatna Moss's effectiveness (if he even plays). STEELERS WILL REFUSE to fall to 0-3 against NFC East, as they expect to be in the postseason. Tomlin will have these guys ready, Steelers are accustomed to primetime spotlight and Skins aren't. Zorn is still unproven as a coach in my book.

But I was looking at their past schedules and I saw that the skins haven't played a good team in a month, while the Steelers played arguably the best team, and made it close. I think the Steelers are going to continue to play well, and beat the Skins.

While I think Steelers are the better team, I think Redskins win this game at home. Pittsburgh got beat up physically by the Giants, and the Skins have been somewhat in cruise control the last three weeks vs. weak opponents. I think they will be much more focused in a home Monday nighter, eager to show the nation that the team that beat the Cowboys and Eagles on the road in consecutive weeks was the real Redskins team.

I like the steelers too buy i think your seriously underestimating the skins man, they got a solid defense and run game. Eitherway it definitely aint going to be a blowout i can promise you that, campbells played effecient this year, doesnt turn it over which means more often then not your going to have to go a long field against a good defense. Santonio holmes returning or being benched is going to be big but hes probably as of now. Eitherway im takin steelers too but dont think this games going to be a cakewalk

I am at a point in my life where I no longer feel it is worth my time to cap, watch and sweat games on a $1K bankroll. I want to do more important things with my time. I make about $89K a year in my job, the time commitement here is not worth it relative to that. Therefore, this bet was a calcualted decision that will take me down one of two paths: 1. I start focusing on new things, or 2. I inherit a $12K + bankroll and capping/betting/watching becomes worth my time. This is truly the decision of a man who is happy with either result.

Since those lines are the same, this is a case of personal preference. Are you the type that prefers the saftey of getting a key number laying -130, or are you the type willing to give up some points to get + odds?

Usiually, there is an edge one way or the other, but since these lines are simiilar, this one is totally up to you.

what r u talking about?? did u watch the game last week???? in the 2nd half up till the botched snap, i think the giants outgained the steelers something like 120 yards to 25 or something like that in the 2nd half??? what game were u watching? or were u not watching it?? also big ben threw his 4th pick on the last play so 4 was an inflated number.... and he actually had one that the WR compleely f'ed up and should have had... so it really was more like 2

im taking the steelers ML.... but backing them up with that was bad

id say it was pretty even in the physical part of the game.... we dominated jacobson and completely dominated them in the 1st half but fell apart in the 2nd and could not get any help from our offense. giants were a better team that night
