Bears played a 2-14 team, yet hardly improved with a ROOKIE QB in his first ever start (ON THE ROAD) who is playing new style of offense and trying to change on defense but without the proper players to execute it yet, and then on top of that Freeney left the game early so it was lights out passing after that. Easy with the turnovers by the rook under heavy pressure.

While the Pack faced one of the top 3, if not the best defense in the league... with a vastly improved offense, great coaching, good special teams... kicker... just a great all-around team who was looking to make a statement on the road to open the season.

defenses > offense early season... as shown by the Saints game, u can't just go ahead and score 45 if your D gives up 40 week 1.

if the pack win with a last second fg all those bears backers are gonna cash. they hate running the ball and its not good when aaron rodgers is leading your team in carries. no jennings, divisional game, bears being near the top of the nfc before cutler was hurt last year all sounds like a recipe for a great close game probably coming down to the last possession as you hinted.

Matthews 4 sacks. The guy is a beast knew he would get to Cutler. Cutler is always holding the ball too long looking for the big play. 3 Ints. Not sure why everyone always tries to act like he's a good QB.
