Great thesis for a research project. Backtest it thoroughly for the last several seasons, and report back to us...errr...major complication: that "little bit of line shopping" is impossible to quantify as it's an acquired art...
Guess you're down to "putting up or shutting up" (more formally known in academics as "action research")...do it & document it for an ENTIRE MLB season and report back to us (about 13 months from now) on just how easy/profitable it is...

I think A.P. is still healthy, so I would lean more on Minny until Indy gets more comfortable w/their new team.

Are you worried about no Dwight Freeney or do you think Pagano's scheme can compensate? The man-to-man approach in the secondary is so completely different than what we've seen from IND's defense in quite some time. Indy certainly could be undervalued ...
I like the Jags in week 1, but no Smith, Cox on D and missing 3 starters on O-line? Not sure they can get away with that against Texans.

Agree I think KC is in a semi-must-win situation if they hope to be relevant this season. Their division is too tough to let games like this slide. Having Flowers and Hali back is HUGE. No Jones and Jackson hurts an already erratic offense too. KC wins this game as long as Cassel doesn't feel the need to be a hero...Comment -

Chiefs had 5 guys inactive on defense last week, there is a chance all 5 could play this week but the 2 most important ones will definitely play. Offense was actually OK vs. Atlanta, almost 400 yards. Was 20-17 at half before lack of defensive depth caught up vs. Falcons' hurry-up.Comment -
