lions rarely win road games, much less on grass. it's such a rare occurrence that last year they won in oakland the media made a huge deal of it.

im a 49ner fan myself, Is hard to say at this point, but 49ner is for real this year

First, I'd be wary of backing a team that just beat the Packers SU at Lambeau. That's a letdown spot waiting to happen. Second, the revenge aspect mentioned above. SF trailed for most of the game in last year's matchup and won it in the final two minutes. It was a VERY close game.

I wouldn't be so eager to lay -6.5 here.

Do you think the line will go down much? I just see a 49er team that won out right as 6pt dogs on the road against one of the top teams in the NFC...now playing at home against a team who struggled to beat the rams.

Lions lucky to beat St. Louis in their home opener and though Stafford threw for a lot, he had 3 intercepts. S.F. looked very good indeed. Let down game at home? Probably not; I like S.F. as part of a teaser.
