I've had two weekends this year where I literally couldn't do ANYTHING right and lost a decently large amount both weeks. Variance will make even the best cappers look absolutely horrible sometimes. Just take a couple days off and catch your breath before you get back to capping.

Doing this work every day from August through the end of May for NFL/NCAAF/NBA wears you down just like working a formal job would, if not more so.

I usually focus on nfl until the season is done, than switch to nba after the nfl season is done. I've only made a few nba plays so far.

That's why I can't do college basketball. SO many teams and I don't have enough base knowledge to feel confident in it. I have a huge amount of my day to day work for the NBA automated to make it more sustainable for a 6 month span. I spend a few hours on Sunday evening during/after SNF doing most of the work for NFL/NCAAF, and then don't really look at it until Thursday beyond thinking about a few matchups. I also do WAY less numerical work now than I used to, which can be the really mind-numbing part.
