Dallas +4 and I'm a Redskins fan. Dallas O-line is atrocious but the Giants have no corners with T2 out and Amukamara out. Expect a few sacks here and there, but expect Romo to avoid some sacks like he always seems to do. Witten practiced and might play .... MIGHT.

Mike Jenkins is back for Dallas so they have some corners if Claiborne can step up in the slot and Carr can go one on one with Nicks.

Game could go either way, but I'm going with the underdog.

returning champs usually do well on opening night not to mention betting unders for week 1 from 2000-2010 would hit around 64%. With all this said I'm waiting till sunday.

Wow, really interesting that everybody is on the under for this game. It has been my casual observation that DAL vs NYG games often turn into shootouts. I haven't researched the stats on this, just seen this matchup go over several times.

The Giants spread is by far the best play of the game. That being said, don't lay -4 when Dallas money will almost certainly soften the line prior to kickoff.

Agreed. When good defensive teams also play aggressively (which I expect in this game), it leads to a lot of short fields.

Dallas will be tough on defense. Not sure what to make of their offense with Austin, Bryant and Witten not really playing during the preseason. They might be a little rusty on offense the first game of the season.

I've noticed that usually the opening game to the season typically goes Over. I wouldn't be surprised to see this game fly over easily.

Tough to get a read on the Cowboys because of all the injuries to the offense. Who knows if Dez, Austin, and Romo will all be on the same page. And it sounds like Witten won't play in the game.

My money is on texans -10. I am contemplating DAL moneyline for a couple of reasons:

1) I don't think nyg will beat DAL for a third straight time
2) nyg play better on the road, not at home
3) romo or manning = toss up. I'll take the team with 160% rate of return if I think the game could go either way
4) if you want to increase your odds of winning, take DAL +4 as I see this game as ending close
5) nyg whipped DAL last time, but remember that demarco Murray wasn't playing and romo had a bruised hand.
