Another 5000 yard and 50 TD season for Brady coming up, and chances are he finishes with a top 2-3 record in the NFL.

Peyton was always a favorite in the past, but don't see it happening with a totally new team this year.

i think this is pretty close to the truth. but QB still has to hit the guy in stride. that's on the QB. Brady BADLY missed Welker in the Superbowl. Homeboy was WIDE OPEN. Made him spin and leap. Little white guys (like myself) need to be hit in the numbers or just above head. That was WAY behind, and WAY behind him.

The PROPER throw was the Manningham throw by Mr. E-l-i-te. Right over the shoulder, two Pats all over him.. right at the sideline, ONLY he could catch that. wow... ELI is too much man, especially under pressure. Incredible nerves.

so that goes for all teams with the MOST money. Yanks, Pats, Lakers. The reason being is that this kind of person is addicted to 'winning' and will always follow a major-market team, with the most $$$ that can create the greatest likelihood of that happening on a continual basis.

there are plenty of guys that love Jeter, Kobe, Brady... so we know what it really is... impossible for all of those teams to be hometown. it's drugs as sports, not pulling for your town.

5 of the last 5 years, that's how it went. With recent rule and corresponding strategy changes, QB play is more crucial to team success than ever before, not to mention stats being bloated so NFL records are being broken every year at the QB position. For a non-QB position to win MVP, they'd have to break many NFL records in major categories and lead a great team to success.
