#3I cant wait to POUND them when they play @ home throughout the playoffs. They will definitely be able to make it through a VERY weak afc. Whose a better AFC team? This team was good last year when they held SD to very little points at home in the playoffs.Comment -

#4What about this team impresses you? It seems like they win ugly every week. There's no flash at all. On a side note, you weren't one of those who thought San Diego was gonna be good this season? I sure as hell saw through that over rated team as well.Comment -

#5In the playoffs, I would take the Steelers over them. Qb's win in the playoffs, and Kerry Collins just isn't any more than mediocre.
Good regular season team.Comment -

#6Their defense plays tough, and they did make a good comeback to take the lead in this game. Then they just poured it on to put it out of reach for Peyton.Comment -

#13Roethlisburger the turnover machine against the Giants or the unsackable collins who doesnt turn the ball over. just remember they beat the colts today without vandenbosch. they are way better with him in the lineup.
And the steelers win ugly every single week and no one says they are no good, why are the titans not allowed to win ugly without being called a bad football team?
The Titans have a better defense than the Steelers although obviously the Steelers have the better offense. The strength of the Titans is their lines. Its an underrated aspect to the NFLComment -

#17Any team that can turn a deficit at halftime or after 3Q's into a win gets 'a' resilience in my book. Resilience is a major championship ingredient. This win was a big step for the Titans. A confidence builder.
For the record, I'm disappointed with the level of football across the league. Teams are too up and down, so I play mostly totals, and keep sides for the first and last months of the season.Comment -

They didnt make their schedule
At least they havent laid an egg like Redskins/Cowboys vs Rams. Like Browns vs Giants. Like Broncos vs Chiefs. Like Pats vs Fins. Jets vs Raiders. Can I stop the list yet?
They havent lost, period. They don't turn the ball over, they don't give up any easy points. They create turnovers. They run well, they play physical, and last night they threw well- Collins no turnovers no sacks 193 yards and his receivers dropped almost half his incompletions. Their receivers are pathetic and its sad the bad wrap Vince gets because they drop so many passes and make his numbers look so abysmal. Yes he makes bad passes but those guys drop so many its ridiculous. Justin Gage is a joke. Crumpler dropped a TD last night. I like Scaife. Name a team with worse receivers.Comment -

#24Crap. Looking at their schedule, 16-0 looks realistic.
The next 3 weeks will tell a lot: GB, @Chi, @Jax. Then it looks like cake: Jets, @Det, Browns, @Hou, Pitts, @Indy. Those road divisional games might be tough, but Pitts might not even have Ben if he keeps taking the beatings he's been taking. The Jets suck & Browns are up and down.Comment -

#31I know, I know -- and I suppose if the Titans played in the SEC, they'd never go undefeated. Please..... 7-0 in the NFL, is 7 good wins. Period. Defense is solid, running game is solid, and Collins doesn't turn the ball over. This is a proven formula for success in the NFL. For every "Greatest Show on Turf" Rams, I'll show you six Redskins Hogs, Ray Lewis Ravens or Steel Curtain Steelers that win it all.Comment -

#34They're the best coached team in the NFL - Fisher has been among the elite for a long time, also - he ALWAYS gets guys to overproduce.
Calling the Titans a 7-0 fraud, though, is being completely blind to their mix of veteran and young talent - their balance on both sides of the ball, as well as playmakers sprinkled throughout their lineup. The Titans also have some top shelf veteran leadership with players like Kevin Mawae. They have the championship formula to a T. They have some of the 'best' players at their position and several excellent/productive players all around their lineup.
They aren't nearly as 'sexy' as say New England or those powerhouse Colt teams that flirted with perfection or nailed it. They don't 'dominate' you in the same manner - they just show up, they beat you, they go home.
To me - it doesn't matter if it's a 1 point win or a 100 point win, it's still a win.
If you want to compare the Titans to the other elite teams over the past decade, from a talent standpoint on paper, they don't come close - especially at the receiver position or QB position. However, if you start looking in other corners of that lineup - you have a stout O Line, a strong backfield with a home run threat, playmakers all over the defense and a candidate for defensive player of the year in Haynesworth. The sum of all their parts is really strong and doesn't rely on 1 guy having to perform - it relies on a total team effort.Comment -

#35You are being very harsh here Illusion, my ratings have Titans as second best team in football right now, and as of now, I think I'd only make Giants -1.5 or so over them on neutral field.Comment
