Pats Eagles line movement

Why is the line moving so quickly to favor the Eagles? Most shops opened up favoring Pats about -3, now most books are favoring Eagles -1. Is it cause Brady and Welker are supposedly not starting?


I still like the over play here but might not so much with Pats offense under speculation for a preseason.

Its because the eagles are using this game as their "dress rehearsal" for the regular season instead of the typical week 3. They are playing the browns week 3 preseason and week 1 regular season, so dont want to give anything away. In contrast, Belichick has stated hes using this game to gauge the depth of his team rather than a dress rehearsal.

omaley is correct and also: New England QB Brady TE's Aaron Hernandez, Gronkowski, WR's Wes Welker, Lloyd and LB Jerod Mayo are all out.

I avoid Preseason like the plague but can't help going ALL IN on Philly. Too bad I just got home from work and missed a big line move.
