Jake Locker has been named the starter for the season. As a Titans fan, I am excited about it, but it could be rough at times.
Can't wait for regular season to start, especially college.

Makes sense. More mobile and a better arm. Time will tell to see if he's the man for TENN.

Based on everything I was hearing leading into August, it sounded like it was going to be Hasselbeck. Starting about a week ago the tone changed around town and it was leaning towards Locker. I don't really think Jake "beat" Matt for the job, but rather it was basically even and they made the choice to go with the young, "future" of the franchise that they spent a #8 pick on.
I like the fact that Chris Johnson looked better last week. Week 1 he looked as pitiful as he did most of last year. Last week was against the pre-season bucs though so I don't know if that counts for much (actuallly I know it doesn't). If CJ can get back to 75% of his peak and Locker can hold his own then they may have a shot at being a decent team. The front end of the schedule is still tough regardless.
