Why are the Panthers only a 4 point fav?

Cardinals have not won on the road this year, Panthers have not lost at home. Cardinals allow 24 pr. game, Panthers only 14.9. Panthers have won the last 4 meetings. Panthers are 6-0-1 ATS at home, 7-2-1 ATS in the last 10. Steve Smith is hot hot hot.. Should they not be able to win with at least 7? Can't bet the Cards, even though they are coming of a bye... Just wondering

I've decided not to bet against or for the Arizona Cardinals this year. They are all over the place on the charts. Roller coaster of a year.

The line is right, you are underestimating Arizona. They may get Boldin back this week too.

The thing that scares me though is the 1:00 ET start, as West Coast teams have been terrible in this situation.

LT, I think you're right...the thing a lot of people remember is the absolute beat down the Jets put on the Cardinals.

I don't believe a single west coast team has won playing on the east coast at 1:00 PM this season and some of those have been ugly. (Seattle/Arizona/San Diego)

Arizona after losing at Washington, actually stayed on the east coast and did not have to travel west coast to east coast for their game at the NY Jets. Didn't help them.

That's proving to be a bad move this year...the Pats did the same thing on the west coast after their game against the Niners and got destroyed by the Chargers the next week.

East to West is no big deal though, at least from a body-clock perspective.

West Coast teams plaiyng at 1:00 ET though are 33% ATS since 2002.
