    Early picks for Week 8
Here are some picks I'm looking at this week:

    NY Jets -13 (Chiefs)
    Ravens -7 (Raiders)
    Saints +3 (Chargers)
    Redskins -9 (Lions)
    Titans -4 (Colts)

I will be looking at the Saints offense when Bush isn't in the game to see if that play is good.
I still don't have respect for the Jets, so -13 is a huge line to cover even if it's against a horrible offense, the Chiefs.

Titans -4? are they serious? This has to be the best line of the year. People will argue that Peyton is looking better and they play each other tough. Guess what? the Colts aren't even close to being as good as the Titans this year, and the line at -4 is saying just that, that they are equal. Titans run the ball 60% +, and the Colts run defense as everyone knows is one of the worse (ranked 28th). Watch this line hit -7. If you want to be sneaky get points now up to -6.5, and then if it does jump up to -7, maybe bet on the Colts at +6.5. Oh Yeah, The Titans have only allowed 1 receiving TD after 6 games, while picking off 10.

My 2nd best pick, is the Ravens -7. The Ravens have an amazing run D right now (rank 1). They allow only 67.2 running yards a game (2.8avg a run). The Raiders are a running team and their #1 and #2 aren't 100% healthy, but they will still play. Only way I see the Ravens not covering this is if they try and throw the ball too much leading to interceptions (Raiders have a very fast secondary), or the slim chance that the Raiders just get way too many turnovers go their way, which would give them a good chance of winning it.

love the saints over the chargers, under-rated team of the year so far imo, and also the titans pick. as bad as the chiefs are, 13 points could easily be too many for the jets to cover even in NY, i may stay away from that one. ravens will cover the 7 at baltimore and redskins look good too. the panthers are great at home at the moment, i think theyre worth it to cover 4.5 at home against the cards.

The thing with the Redskins is that they don't seem to cover big lines, which makes me a skeptic.

Jets have the 2nd best run defense and they couldn't stop the Raiders from running. Balt likes to turn the ball over and 7 points is a lot for a team that is so horrible offensively

Actually the Jets did put the Raiders on hold. There was 2 trick plays that made the total yards go from 110 to 150. I personally consider shutting down their main runner down, as shutting it down: Fargas 28 carries, 74 yards (2.6 y/c).
Plus I think the Ravens Defense is a lot better then what the Jets have to offer.

Offense is pretty weak, I do definitely agree with that. But their turnovers aren't overwhelming to make me take it into consideration of changing the game.
