Double Digit Lines and Your Team
Everyone knows you don't lat double digits in the NFl as a rule. I had heard this and decided to do some research just to see what it was really like.

Below is every game that CLOSED with a double digit line since 2006. If the line crossed that mark or opened on that mark it didn't count it had to be at double digits at kickoff.

Buffalo They are 0-1 as a favorite. They are 2-3 as a dog.

New England They are 8-10 as a favorite and have lost straight up 3 times.

Miami They are 0-1 as a favorite. No shocker there but they are 5-1 as a dog including 2 outright wins.

NY Jets They are 1-0 as a favorite. They are 2-1 as a dog with an outright win.

Baltimore They are 1-1 as a favorite and 0-1 as a dog.

Pittsburgh They are 2-2 as a favorite and 0-1 as a dog in this spot.

Cincinnati They are 2-1 surprisingly as a favorite and 2-0 as a dog.

Cleveland They are 1-0 as a favorite and 3-2 as a dog.

Tennessee They are 5-2 as a dog with 2 outright wins.

Jacksonville They are 2-2 as a favorite with an straight up loss. They are 1-0 as a dog.

Indianapolis They are 3-6 as a favorite and lost 2 of those outright.

Houston They are 2-4 with a straight up win.

Denver They are 0-4 as a favorite with an outright loss and 0-1 as a dog.

Oakland They are 4-7 as a dog.

San Diego They are 3-5 as a favorite with an outright loss and 1-0 as a dog.

Kansas City 4-0 as a dog.

Dallas They are 5-8 as a favorite and lost outright 3 times.

NY Giants They are 0-3 as a favorite but 2-0 as a dog with an outright win.

Washington They are 0-2 as a favorite with an outright loss but 2-1 as a dog with a straight up win.

Philadelphia They are 1-1 as a favorite losing one outright. They are 2-1 as a dog winning one straight up.

Green Bay They are 2-0 as a favorite in the spot but 0-1-1 as a dog.

Minnesota They are 0-2 as a favorite.

Chicago They are 1-3 as a favorite in this spot with one outright loss. They are 3-0 as a dog with a straight up win.

Detroit 4-1 as a dog with a straight win.

Tampa Bay They are 1-0 as a favorite and 2-3 as a dog.

Carolina They are 1-0 as a favorite and 2-2 as a dog with a straight up win.

Atlanta They are 2-1 as a dog.

New Orleans They are 0-2 as a favorite with an outright loss.

Arizona They are 1-1 as a favorite with an outright loss. They are 2-0 as a dog with a straight up win.

San Francisco They are 2-4-1 as a dog with a straight up win.

Seattle They are 1-0-1 as a favorite.

St. Louis They are 3-0 as a dog with 2 straight up win.

Dogs are 8-0 on the season with 4 straight up wins.

I show 8-1 for this year because I have Kansas City +10 when they were blown out at Carolina, but no big deal.

    Double-Digit NFL Dogs are 396-331, 54.5% ATS since 1985 and 141-112, 55.7% ATS since 2000.

I show a closing line of 9.5 on that game. That close I am sure some books still had it at 10 but that's what I have.

Wow, nice stats guys, good to know...

Percentage is probably soo high because the lines are almost always inflated too much

unless its a team with an offense like the pats last year or a other team with a A+ offense you never lay double digits!
