Advice on Winning a Straight Up Picking Football Contest
    Stupid little question.

I'm currently leading a football picking contest where all you do is pick winners each week straight up. Does anybody have any suggestions or advice on winning this, other than picking winners of course? I'm currently leading by one. Would you play it safe by picking favs or take some risks?

Dont pick big dogs, keep your upset picks to moderate dogs, maybe under 4 pts at home and under 3 pts on the road.

If you actually want to win, and not worry about how "fun" the contest is, it's way too early to consider doing anything other than that, especially considering you're in the lead.

I'm assuming there is some kind of rule stopping you from picking the same twice (or at least back to back). If so, then look ahead in the schedule, in case you see Team A has an even better matchup the following week.
