I totally agree with the vikings and the under. I like the vikings ML 1st quarter +110 and the under 9.5 1st quarter.

What makes you think it will be a runaway? Don't you have to be able to pass to runaway with a game? Saints will be able to shut down AP enough to win this game by at least a touchdown, no way vikings offense can get going with a loud NO crowd to deal with.

I would go with the saints if they had everyone back. If they had their starting 2 WRs Patten and Colston, and their starting TE Shockey, I would go with the saints in this game. I had the saints over the 49ers last week and there is no way I would take the saints two weeks in a row at home against the spread. The saints are going to be without top draft choice Sedrick Ellis. Ellis is good against the run and this will leave the saints with only 3 healthy defensive tackles. The vikings also get starting left tackle, Bryant Mckinnie, back for this game. Mckinnie is the biggest offensive lineman, 6'8" 340 lbs, that the vikings have. Mckinnie was suspended for 4 games for a misdeamor charge during the offeseaon. The vikings are a different team on offense when they have Mckinnie in there. With Mckinnie in the lineup, the vikings will run the football at least 40-50 times. They will milk the clock by running the football because the vikings know that the saints cannot stop the run. By running the football, they will play keep away from Brees.

Prediction: the vikings will score first. Once the vikings take the lead, they will not trail in this game. Its safe to take the vikings on the ML at 1st quarter (+125), ML at half (+125) and ML game (+140).

I think all MNF games have been wierd since they switched them to ESPN. I can't explain it.

I'm on the Vikings, but they often do the opposite of what I expect, so be careful. Last week I said the same thing, but then they do exactly what I thought they'd do, go figure.

The reason why I like the Vikes is pure and simply their defense. When they want to, they can shut teams down. Although, I think the Saints have the right style of offense to cause problems for Minnesota. Minnesota still has to generate more pass rush. Despite the offseason trade for Jared Allen, the Vikings still need to turn it up. I expect as the season goes on, they will get better and better, but it still remains to be seen to the level that will really demolish the Saints. On offense, Minnesota should be able to dominate a very suspect Saints defense. This should be a good game. But Minnesota gets it if they can turn the ball over, which I think they will do.

I agree. This is a weird matchup. Saints can't stop anyone, and can throw the ball. Vikings can't stop the pass, and can run the ball. If I had to pick it would be Minnesota, just because I think they will be able to control the ball. But I could easily see, the Saints just passing all over Minnesota.

I don't see that much value on the Vikes ML quite honestly. If they were +240 or something like that, than I'd say they were a good value. Teasing this one to Saints +4 and Over 39 seems like a winner to me.

yup i agree with that. a lot of the 3pt teams hit this weekend.

But tonight its already @ 3.5 on my site that i use(bodog) Normally i wouldn't buy half a point but just incase i did and got it @ 4. Although i do think +3.5 is good.

I see just too many injuries for the New Orleans Saints so if they win i feel like it'll be a last minute drive or something like that.
