Favre was something. Right now he is alright, and he is really old. When it is close, you go with the young/talented guy 100% of the time.

favre is a top 5 qb ever, and he dicked them around for sure. i dont wish ill will to rodgers, i just want to see more than 1 or 2 good games before we discuss him in the top tier

Maybe. I usually stay away from ranking qb's until they start 20 games or so in the league. I would rather have Rodgers for the long term, obviously. But I don't think we know how good he is yet.

Ryan you're way off base here!! Aren't you a Cowboys fan? Romo is the QB that everyone (fans/media/etc.) is putting on the level of Manning or Brady! He has the most talent in the NFL around him and still manages to choke in the playoffs and turn it over in some ill-advised manner EVERY week...fumble vs Bengals today! Rodgers has been deserted by their defense and running game for some reason? Ryan Grant ripped off 100+ every week last year and can't find a hole this year? Between TO, Romo's carelessness w/the ball, and Wade Phillips as a overpaid cheerleader this team won't get it done this year either!

Peyton never made stupid turnovers EVERY week except maybe his rookie year! You might not put Romo in his class but everyone else does!! Maybe thats a media thing w/Jessica Simpson, etc?? All I know is that Rodgers has talent...you can see that from watching him in 1 half...just like it didn't take long to figure out that David Carr or Joey Harrington sucked! Rodgers has 9 TDs/4 Ints w/63% completion rate while his team has been behind quite a bit this year and they knew he had to throw! I wouldn't be shocked if he never pans out but I think it would have to be because of injuries!

Romo is good...one of the better touch passers in the NFL but he needs to take care of the ball! Rodgers isn't getting much help...I mean getting lit up by Atlanta at home for 27? I think you're 9-7 for the Pack might be generous at this point. Losing Al Harris hurt them alot but everyone has injuries! You've never argued w/me on Phillips so I guess you agree? Jerry did win 1 SB w/a figurehead named Barry Switzer but this team isn't near that level!

Switzer didn't know wtf he was doing in the NFL either but they still won? Who knows...the Cowboys might have enough talent? Eli is playing at a elite level though & the Giants can pressure the QB! Who knows whats up w/the Skins...they're shocking people! I thought Philly -6 was ridiculous but coming back from down 14 on the road is pretty impressive for Wash! Highly unlikely anyone outside the NFC East wins the NFC!
