    Top 5 NFL Teams.
    5. Ravens
    4. Giants
    3. Titans
    2. Eagles
    1. Cowboys

Lots of teams have really impressed me. Eagles more so than anyone not named Dallas, Giants have looked good enough to be 3-0, and the Titans are looking solid on both sides of the ball. Ravens is the most surprising team as of the moment since no one expect them to go this far but then again the season is just starting.

Interesting choice there on Baltimore. Interesting being the kindest way I can put it. I don't have a comprehensive power ranking but Id have Baltimore down around 15+ if i did.

Take 3 steps back from the crack pipe. Washington barely makes the top 10.

Ravens look good only because they had the potential of being one of the worst teams this year but they're 2-0 instead. But 2 home wins vs Cin and Clev don't mean very much.

              1. Cowboys
              2. Philly
              3. Giants
              4. Pitt
              5. Packers

                  1)NY Giants-they're still the Champs
                  2)Dallas-Best overall team
3)Denver-Their offense is a defensive nightmare, just asked the last 3 losers
4)Chargers-Besides two bad lost, they more than capable of beating anyone anywhere.
5)Philly-Mcnabb is on a tear right now.

For a chicken bone with perhaps a little more meat: which teams are the most underrated, and which the most overrated?

Three off the top of my head.

                    Overrated:
Denver (3-0, but 1-2 record without help from the refs)
Dallas (This year's media darling. Throw out the regular season right now. Come playoff time they will fold. Again.)
Jets (Favre hype; lack of chemistry exposed in San Diego; 1-2 record could easily have been 0-3)

                    Underrated:
Cincy (0-3, but opponents are combined 8-0. Took NYG to the wire in last game)
San Diego (1-2, but could easily have been 3-0)
Tennessee (little media attention for a hard hitting team that is 3-0)

I'm not betting on the Vikings or the Browns this week, -- I feel really strong about Tennessee continuing to beat the spread... but I am taking a gamble on the 49ers this week with you (Don't feel super strong about it). That Bills/Rams under 42 looks do-able too. Why not also take the Bills -8?

                        Cheers,

I lke the Vikes +135. Vikings are 1-2 but could easily be 2-1 or 3-0. What gives them a chance to win is they have the ability to run and stop the run and when you can do that on the road you can win.

I agree with most of these. Dallas is no doubt for the 3rd year in a row, the most overrated team in professional sports history. Haven't had a playoff victory in 12 years, yet every year there is no shortage of band wagon patrons. Good for them.

                            Jets.....requires no explanation.

Minneosta......when discussing overrated teams, they must be thrown in the mix.

As for underrated, I would agree with Cincy too. They have a lot of talent, and credit to them playing the champs last week like they actually cared about their season. Sadly though, I do not see them having a repeat performance like that again this season.

I would throw Washington in the underrated category. People seem to always leave them out of the "NFC East is the best division" conversation. Don't sleep on them; eventually Jason Campbell will consistently complete forward passes, and they will roll.

I'm also going to throw San Francisco and Buffalo in this category. Once only thought of as toilet humor, the 49ers are quietly winning games and impressing a few people. And who honestly thought the Bills would be 3-0 right now in first place in the AFC East?
