Picks to watch for Week 4
I'd say that there are only 2 that are looking like locks right now:

#1 Green Bay -0 over Tampa Bay
Just because Rogers got beat by the Dallas Cowboys does not warrant them to disrespect him with this PK line. The Pack will beat Tampa bay by 7+ imho... Some of this has to do with the Harris injury I'm sure, but even if their defense is impaired -- GB still has a far more explosive offense than TB.

    #2 Tennessee -3 over Minnehaha
Tennessee is the hardest hitting team in football, and has been covering the spread easily every week. Minnesota can't even settle on a QB, and Peterson is continuously playing hurt. Could be some good value here.

Will update my thoughts as Sunday gets closer... I sure hope some of these other lines move, because some of ridiculously spot on right now

    Cheers,

like the Tennessee game but the packers on the road against a good defense. Dallas whooped their butt and I believe that TB has just as good as a defensive. TB playbook is opening up and throwing it a bit more and with harris out could be trouble. Not sure about galloways status but if he is playing I think TB is a great pick. Until the packers can prove that they can beat an above average team then I'll consider betting them in the future.

Yeh, I hear you... The Harris injury has me worried also, but I think Rodgers is an elite QB in the making, and he'll be able to put points on the board and outscore them. Dallas is a Superbowl caliber team with 13 probowlers, and GB is a playoff caliber team still -- I believe (So not a huge surprise Dallas put them in their place... I won money on that game too). I think TB is not all they're cracked up to be (Even though I won money on them Sunday, as well) -- They were handed a ton of chances to win that game, and finally were able to close it out with just a FG. I wasn't super pleased with the performance I saw from them. They've lost to New Orleans, which has bursts of explosive offense -- but isn't exactly a great team either... Hmmmmmm.......

yeah TB did get that game handed to them, but to put points like that against the bears was impressive. Anyways games like these I usually like to go with the home team but the Pack are my team so might not bet against them. I doubt Harris will be out there next week. BOL whatever play you pick.

as far as next week I like the titans -3.0, TB, Carolina -7, and pittsburgh depending on the health of big ben

Carolina is the best bet I like out of them all. After losing last week this team will be fighting hard for a win. Atlanta crushed 2 crappy teams and got beat pretty bad against TB. On the road their offense won't be that great and all Carolina has to do is control turner.

Will the Bears be favored if Westbrook cant play? I figure a healthy Westbrook the eagles would be -3, without him no clue.

I still like the Eagles in that one even if Westbrook is out... McNabb is healthy and really looking like his old self this year (He made me money on Sunday, thank god he got back in that game!) -- I think with all his other weapons, i.e. Desean Jackson -- he finds a way to pull that one out. The Bears have had a couple of good games, but it remains to be seen if they can hold up with the terrile QB situation there. I think the Eagles kick ass pass defense makes it even worse for their already poor QB.

                glad to see we are seeing the same thing;;; i picked GB in a second over TB for the reasons u cited above;; i like TB but GB has more elite players + GRIESE is prone to piks which is what woodson and harris will cash in on;;

i feel the wash dal game is going to be close and nasty due to the fact that ROMO is good for about 2 sloppy turnovers per game even tho he is a capablle and likable qb;;dal by 7-10

i am leanning philly even w/o westbrook due to macnabb being in a groove;; plenty of other playmakers;; phi by 4+

pittt should bounce back and abuse balty as well by 7+

Collins is nothing special... I'd almost rather have him at the controls though than Mr. Manic Depressive, Vince Young. Jeysus, what is that guy's problem? haha...

I'm also looking pretty hard at Washington vs. Dallas this week... If the spread for Dallas stays around 14-14.5, then I might just take Washington.... Seems like they were struggling early in the season when they lost to the Jets, but now they've beat New Orleans and Arizona, 2 pretty decent teams -- You combine that with the fact that they always play Dallas hard, and you look at the fact that Dallas is has only pitched 1 blowout (Cleveland), so far this year.... Makes you wonder if the skins will cover that one?

Holy Snikees -- Did you guys see that San Diego is only -7 against the Oakland Raiders? What's that all about? Oakland is way worse than the Jets, who SD romped last night... Is this just a great opportunity or what?

I just did the research, and there is nothing out there to give substance to the -7 line on SD vs. Oakland this week, so I just locked it in. I don't usually lock my picks for the weekend by Tuesday, but this one was a gift from god that was too good to pass on. LOL -- Bank it before the line moves! There's no way this won't be -10 or more before game time.

San Fran ML, and SanFran + 6.5. i've cashed back to back 3 unit plays on them against the spread. They are a legit team this year.

I hit them last weekend too. Kinda shocked at the level of play they are at from last year, but agree they have been a good value so far this year.

SF is +7 right now on BetUs

what G.B team have you been watching

I understand Dallas is a superbowl caliber team however they were on the road and G.B. was never in the game Rogers is good but not quite elite yet, elite QB's keep games close at home with the supporting cast that he is surrounded with, example Mcnabb on the road against dallas kept it close. I do feel T.B. is the best defense G.B. will face this year plus they have to deal with their best CB Harris being out, i love the under, as well as T.B. covering, just remember who and how G.B. won their games.

I was also able to get Denver at -9 i feel their defense can step up against a poorer offense that would not be able to keep up with theirs

Two 0-3 teams. I may fade the Browns (again), because Bengals are starting to get their act together; if OT loss at Giants was any indication. Meanwhile, Browns are a mess and are already talking about handing the ball over to Quin.

Just a lean. Nothing jumps out at me.

I really don't... The Raiders are horrible, and their coach is about to get fired, they will be in even more turmoil as the week rolls on. San Diego could represent the AFC in the Superbowl the way they played last weekend (Although right now my money would be on Denver over them)

I like Denver over KC... I'm just not sure I can depend on Denver to run the score up that high, and not try to sit on the lead. I'm debating that one in my mind right now.... If it was -7 I would be on Denver HEAVY.

I thnk the line on that game is pretty accurate...

                                          On a sidebar --

I've noticed a lot of people, especially on this board will get drawn into betting the underdog by there being a big line out there.... (Evidence was last nights game, where the majority of people here took the Jets) Be careful out there. Atlanta got their ass handed ot them in week 2.... So they've beat Detroit and KC -- Big whoop. They could easily get whooped, or Matt Ryan could get hot... I don't know what the answer is there, so I'll probably stay out.

One thing no one has mentioned with Atlanta is their Defense. They have John Abraham playing like he is capable - and that's MVP calibur. Pressure eats all QBs alive, and they are getting good pressure. Atlanta likes to run the ball and does pretty well with it.

Ditto... I lost money on ATL once already this year.... Don't want it to happen again. I thought Ryan was gonna be the answer to their probs after that 1st game, but then it didn't look like it in the 2nd.
