The 49ers defense last week gave up 20 points in the first half to the seahawks. THe lions are much better team on offense than the seahawks. So far this season the lions have not scored in the first quarter in their first 2 games. The
49ers are banged up at the corner back spot. Spencer is out and Stirckland is questionable. And the 49ers defense is going to be exposed by Roy WIlliams and Calvin Johnson. The 49ers are also suspect against the run as they have allowed 100 yard rushers in each of the first two weeks. Look for the lions to come out with 4 receiver sets to begin the game instead like they did in the 4th quarter of the packers game. THe lions are going to put some points up and often. Any thoughts on this.

As a life long suffering Lions fan, don't drink the Honolulu Blue and Silver Kool Aid. I have tried to rationalize my Lions bets the last two weeks and I have gotten drilled.

Big mistake. This is a 49ers pick or no pick at all. The Lions have lost five straight on the road. They are also 1-9 in their last 10 games. The only win was against the Chiefs. I have not looked up the numbers ATS.

The players are already pointing fingers. The Lions will be playing against their offensive coordinator from last year (Mike Martz), and their back-up QB from last year (O'Sullivan), who will be highly motivated to have a good game.

Ride with the Lions this week because the one week you don't play the Lions is gone be the one week they cash in. The Lions will score and can win if they don't fall down 21-0 in the first quarter. San Fran will be solid on offense but I don't think they will put the game away early like Green Bay did last week against the Lions.

I have about 1/4 of my bankroll on Over 46 in this game! The Lions were LAST in points allowed last year and even worse this year (41 ppg allowed)! The only reason the total is under 50 is because the 49ers were last in scoring last year (see Alex Smith)! Smith is now GONE...Martz/JT O'Sullivan/Bruce are IN! 33 points last week at one of the loudest..toughest road venues in the league! Detroit has a ton of weapons on offense to play catchup...they came back from 21 down to a good Packer defense last week! 5 straight Overs for the Lions on the road!

Lions get it done today. Lions moneyline is the play. Marinelli had to have cussed out his defense over the last 2 games so I expect the D to come out and play hard to get back on marinelli's good side. As far as the offense is concerned, I expect them to put up at least 24 points today.
