I agree w/LT Profits....Dallas is the best team in the NFL at this point. Last week their O-line reminded me of the 90s Dallas juggernaut. Leonard Davis and Flozell Adams at tackle are both 350+! Gaping holes for Barber/Jones and Romo just looking around for a full 5 seconds while the Cleveland D-line tried to get back up! Granted it was vs the lowly Browns defense! The Eagles were 7th best vs the run last year and 9th in points allowed....add to that one of the best ballhawks in the NFL...Asante Samuel (Good riddance from my Colts perspective)! LT Smith is supposed to be healthy and Westbrook has always played well vs Dallas and their bigger DE/OLB hybrids! DeSean Jackson can be a game changer at WR/Kick returner as well! I'm making a tiny play on Philly +6.5 but a serious handicapper should use this one for evaluation imo! GL

Not pointing at you specifically man but that trend of 8-1 ATS as a dog for Philly is so wide spread over the internet it's exactly why everyone likes Philly tonight. Who is smarter? The odds maker who pegged the game at -7 for Dallas or the public who uses that 8-1 ATS trend? The odds maker is. Why is nobody talking about the trend of Philly is 1-7 ATS after 500 or more yards of total offense in their previous game?

Also who said all of america is against the Eagles? That's absurd. 60+% of ML bets are coming in on Philly right now and this poll is evidence enough that 65% of people like Philly ATS.

Last 2 games vs Phil Dallas just couldnt throw the ball. They were like 32-67 for 230 yards in both games. I think both teams play it a bit close to the vest waiting for the other to make a mistake.

Its the little things sometimes that you have to look at. Most teams, like Cleveland have to double TO a lot throughout the game, not the Eagles. Samuel will contain and frustrate TO, who is all about trying to show off tonight. This alone takes away Dallas' largest weapon, they will have to run more and dump to Crayton and Witten keeping this one closer than 6.5...Prediction DALLAS 29 Philadelphia 27

Needless to say, not at all what I expected. Has the Dallas defense made a stop yet? Jeez Louise! They may have lost outright if not for the Westbrook fumble in the final minutes when Philly had the ball up 3.

I am not sure what to make of the NFC right now. I know one game should not change one's perspective, but that defensive performance by Dallas worries the shit out of me.
