"NFL games are rigged" theory, I want the truth
High profile NFL games are rigged (thats what I think). I am going to bet against the public on any high profile game where the public clearly likes one side. I will track this bet from now on (including the Steelers @ Browns game) to see if this theory is really true!!!

I would agree. I just don't see big games going untouched. I'm sure there are tons of people/syndicates who can make money off the game and would have it rigged. That being said, I have Dallas -7 for tomorrow so I'm scared now...

Fading the public is hardly reinventing the wheel where betting on sports is concerned...

The "public" likes betting on public teams (Yankees, BoSox, Patriots, Cowboys, Lakers, etc), the books know this and adjust the line accordingly knowing the public will bet on their favorite teams, even if they are overpriced, anyway.

Many times there is value in fading the public...But that doesn't mean the games are rigged.

just bc a game ends with the points being used, doesnt make it rigged
it means the public was right, and the linemakers are ****ing good

I don't believe the games are rigged. If you do, then tracking is a great idea. I believe you will find you go through the normal up-and-down streaks and, in the long run, you will end up with no pattern at all.

My only suggestion, if you want real results, is decide what games you think are rigged and want to track before they are played.

Waiting for finished games that seem to fit your theory and saying, "A HA!" and counting them in your test is completely bogus.

So my suggestion is throw out last night's result, start from scratch, and test if your theory holds any water.
