I did awesome, but I was dodging bullets.

I took NYG -4 on a straight bet, NE -5.5, PHI +2.5, and DAL +4 in a 10 pt teaser, and NYG -4, NYJ -3, PHI -7.5, and DAL -6. in a 4 team parlay

This site saved my butt. I was hot on the Chargers. I was going to put them in my teaser as well as my Parlay. After reading several posts I saw that a lot of people were going with the Panthers. That prompted me to look at the betting trends posted on sportsbook.com and the money was pretty even on both sides. I like to see 80%+ in favor of my team. I looked into the injuries and Merriman's foolish decision to play was the icing on the cake for me. I didn't bite despite the fact that I was hot on this game right up until last Friday. If that was a bullet I felt the wind as it flew inches from my head.

The Colts was another game I was hot on but an easier one to avoid for me. I was leary of IND and NE because the star QBs were injured and it was all the talk on espn. When I heard that Saturday was injured I didn't touch it.

Despite being leary of NE for a while due to a high point spread and rumors of Brady's foot injury I decided to bite and put them into a 10 point teaser. Brady gets injured in the first quarter and I was having a heart attack of the rest of the game. I thought KC was going to punch that goal line for sure and then the Pats would win by a field goal in OT. The defense held thank God!!! I jumped into a turd pile and came out smelling like a rose.

I'm off to a 3-0 start.

5-0 all verified in the "Best Bets" thread. I got 17 different bets this week so hopefully my luck holds up...week 2's normally my biggest betting week of the NFL season.
