Oh yeah, dude! In reference to that moneygram, thing. I wanted to tell you, that the online sportsbooks, usually have a directory, in your local area, on locations for moneygrams. i.e.: call a BetJam rep, and they'll tell you a list of moneygrams, in your local area.
Dude told me about place, 3 blocks from my apartment, that I never noticed.

Sometimes that is the way things go. It's funny, your "what the hell" list was my "not a clue" list so I was lucky enough to avoid them. I would not touch the Bengals or Falcons games for anything, but I definately would have taken the Colts if I played that one. This was a week of close calls for me. I talked myself out of the Chargers at the last moment and went with the Pats in a 10 point teaser with the Eagles and Cowboys. I was crapping my pants the whole game after Brady got hurt.

The only pick I see here that really leaves me scratching my head would be the Rams vs. the Eagles. PHI looks to be tough as nails this year, for as long as McNabb is healthy. The Rams are going to have to show me something before I would put money on them.

The rest of the picks I can see logical arguments for. I wouldn't beat myself up too bad over this. I just hope you didn't completely decimate your bank roll.

^Agreed, I do a newsletter where I pick EVERY game against the spread so unfortunately I couldn't really skip any games... there would have been a TON of non plays this week.

I agree Philly looks great this year but I honestly wasn't expecting all of the offense. Thought they'd play a safer game and I overrated St. Louis's abilities on offense... was thinking 17 - 10 or 20 - 13, something like that... but I will absolutely admit that was a bum pick.

I'm just shaking my head because when you go 4 - 10 you think you'd regret many of your picks... the only pick I'd change would be the StL/Phi to be honest.

Sorry man, picked the absolute worst weekend of my career to ride me... I feel fvcking miserable... hopefully I can gain some trust back next week.

It gets better bro, at least you know what to expect with some NFL teams. The first week is so hard to predict. The bad players get lucky, the good ones cap and sometimes it just doesn't go right. This week will mean nothing by November!

I don't care if you pick 100% wrong 100% of the time, nobody should be kicking anyone when they are down. That is disrespectful.

I come here to hear the opinions of others and express my own to get feedback. I'm here to learn. I am grateful that you post your picks. I form my opinions and pick and choose my spots. If it weren't for people like you I would be flying blind. If I were forced to pick every game I doubt that I could do any better.

I have been reading your posts and finally had to chime in after the Philly comment... How after hearing how GREAT of a pre-season Mcnabb has had, his first time 100% healthy in recent years, knowing that he could be on his way out, did you think they would take the conservative route and keep the game close??

Jackson was a hold out all summer and St Louis has not proven themselves at all... I thought this was a PERFECT spot for a Philly cover... Now granted, I did not anticipate the blow out and I will admit I did not post the pick but I am just trying to understand your reasoning on this one...

We have all had bad weekends, I went 1-8 2 NFL seasons ago... One thing I have learned is Vegas knows what the hell they are doing and thinking we are better than them and they are "WAY OFF" is just not true anymore... We have to take what they give us and not doubt so much...

I.E: GB lastnight... EVERYONE in the world was claiming GB is done, no Favre bla bla... And I did jump on the bandwagon UNTIL I went back and looked at their numbers last year, did we forget so quickly they were 13-3 and were a play or 2 away from the SB?? Vegas made them the favorite because they knew they were the better team hands down and look what happend...

We are all learning my friend, NOONE is perfect...But I think over analyzing sometimes will get you (us) into trouble.

I had each of those "what the hell bets" and also wrapped together in a parlay.

Needless to say my sunday was pretty lame. And Indy was supposed to be the safe part of that parlay for me, thought if I got to that point it would be a cakewalk....

Instead by about 1:15 that parlay was done...as well as the lions season.
