#2Personally, I got by with New England, Philly and my pools. I bought another pick with Denver, for tonight. How about some feedback, on what we should take?Comment -

#3Not sure I understand the rules here, but I like the Giants vs. the Rams. Eagles made the Rams look silly. Giants don't have the same fire-power, but their D looked very impressive against Washington. I'm waiting for the line to come out on sportsbook.com, but that is probably what I am going to take.Comment -

1. Pick 1 team to win straight up. If they lose or tie, you're eliminated.
2. The team you picked to win, can never be picked, ever again, for the season.
Its a pool I run among my friends, locally. Very funfor alot of people, because they only pick 1 team, a week.
In other 'office pools', people tend to get discouraged to pick all the games, because they think its too hard for them to do. With LMS, alot of people seem to like it, because its just one team.
A lot of people on the forum might not like it, because its not against the spread, gambling. But its a recreational type of gambling, thats fun for the person, who doesn't want to expend alot of brainpower over gambling.
Locally, my first year, running it, less than 20 entries. Now, in my fourth year running this pool, 120 entries. It seems to be a fad, that's catching on.Comment -

#10Tennessee should be able to beat Cinci. I don't see how Cinci will score on that Titan D and the Titan's offense can really control a game with their rushing attack. VY being out might even help the passing game.Comment -

#18Let me explain: Very simple.
1. Pick 1 team to win straight up. If they lose or tie, you're eliminated.
2. The team you picked to win, can never be picked, ever again, for the season.
Its a pool I run among my friends, locally. Very funfor alot of people, because they only pick 1 team, a week.

You are not allowed to pick the same team again all season. I don't expect the Titans to be great this year, but I think they have a real shot at winning this game.
I would stay away from DAL and PHI because they are both looking tough and will have much better shots at winning against weaker teams than against each other.
You have 17 teams that you will have to pick during the season. Try to pick the weakest teams to win first. If you survive the early season your odds of winning will improve towards the end because you held off on the stronger teams. If you pick the strong teams first you'll be great out of the gates but will most likely crash and burn towards the end.
Follow the power rankings closely. ATL faces KC in week 3. This might be a good opportunity to cross Atlanta off your list, saving the Eagles, Steelers, and Cowboys for later... ... aces up your sleeve.Comment -

#19Oops. I think I misunderstood the rules. I thought you had to pick a different team each week. Are you picking one team and hoping they don't lose week after week?
In that case I would take the Patriots. I know things look bleak without Brady, but they have a weak schedule and coach B is one sharp cookie.Comment -

#26The thing w/ LMS and a large pool of players is to pick the league dogs when they are most likely to win. If you plan your LMS picks around the league dogs best chances to win (even miami will win 1) you can save the easy blow out picks for the end of the season when those that didn't plan are choosing btw the constant loser teams... For that reason I like Arizona or whoever you think will win Oak v. KC.Comment -
