During the lead-up to the Super Bowl, the NFL announced that the first 15 weeks of the 2012 season will have Thursday games.
NBC has the season opener on Thursday, September 6th. Then NFL Network airs Thursday night games up until Week 15, with the exception of the Thanksgiving night game, which will be on NBC.
*Most notable is that the NFL revealed that ALL 32 teams will get at least one Thursday game during the season. Meaning that even teams like the Jaguars, Rams, Vikings, and so on...will be in prime-time next year.
