Had gmen to win superbowl +3950

Before the game against jets. Bet 100 to win 3950. They are now +350 to win the sb.
I´ve already hedged for about 700 bucks. 200 on falcons ML and 500 och the pack (both
at plusmoney). How should I hedge now, and for how much?

3950 - 700(so far) = 3250 left.

1250 on the niners ML is the course I would take. That would leave you with 2G to play around with, and you can hedge at least a grand on their opponent in the SB, so either way you come out with +$1000. I hope this works out for you, GL!

If you're going to risk 1250 you're guaranteed more money than 900. A thousand easily, especially since the price will go down too.

Ya i get the principle of it....thanks wiseguy. My problems is this, its far less money than the original payout, which was a LONG SHOT to begin with. If its me I ride it out, its called a long shot for a reason. You bet a little bit of money, as this person did here, to get an exorbitant amount of money. If you lose the hundred its no big deal, you get it back that same night right. Never was a believer in this tactic, unless you originally risked a very large amount

Wait 'till the last day, and try to get it at Niners -1/-2. The spread will not increase, it will definitely decrease. It already has on other books.

personally i think u made big mistake already wasting money hedgeding way too soon, and i wouldnt hedge any money unless they make the SB for ur wager, and even then not very much

ya u shouldnt have been hedging at all yet, i picked sf to win the superbowl at +4000 on feb 10 2011, i only put $25 to win $1000 and havent hedged and still wont until maybe 2nd half of the superbowl. if anything wait til the 2nd half of the ny/sf game, what if ny get off to a big lead, dont waste your money yet(well anymore anyway ha)
