I know I know... we all are the public but I'm asking if you guys have #'s on how the playoffs have gone for Vegas the last few years. If my memory serves me right, favorites were just about 50% last year... but I'm curious about games in the last few years that have been really lop sided... which way did it go usually? When you get down to the top teams in each division, those games will be tough calls.. but I see potential for favorites killing it in round one.

#2the public is all about perception, obviously GB will be big public plays in the playoffs alongside the pats, do you think those two teams will meet in the final? if so follow the public if not fade awayComment -

#3I only remember some details last year. Mostly buried, especially early rounds.
jets/indy, public lose big
jets/ne public lose HUGE
bal/kc public wins big
saints/sea public lose big
gb/phi I think it was split
bal/pit public lose again thinking the "points" would be enough. Public road dog.
sea/chic public loses small, again thinking points were too big
atl/gb, i think it was split
nyj/pit surprisingly lot of public on the points again, public road dog, lose again
gb/chi, public won this one i think
gb/pit basically splitComment -

#4i recall Vegas doin well last year too. i think early rounds may be diffcult plays and the top tier teams in each conference are pretty even so could go either way . really hopeful for a new Orleans green bay nfc gameComment -

#5Anyone else have input?
You would assume by playoff time the books have the lines pretty damn sharp... I'm gonna be careful this playoffs.Comment -

#7The NFL playoffs are not a typically good risk vs. return investment. Lines are sharp as a tack and move like lightening based on true and breaking information available to those on the inside.
By the time you and I get anything informative it is as stale as applicable to the line as a loaf of bread with a sunburn.
I do not want to chase lines. I want to beat them.
NCAA hoops is a great proposition right about that time. We are deep enough into the schedule that statistics are developed and team tendencies well rooted.
There are so many games on big game nights in college hoops that there is always a needle in the haystack. The limited schedule of the NFL playoffs is under the microscope and for that reason little real time value exists.
NFL playoffs are for fans and degenerates. Or guys way more in the know or a lot sharper than I.
Good luck to all those that play.Comment -

Some two bit POS fantasy football player like you will probably not change that. Looking through you posting history shows me that you don't know a rat's ass about NFL. So turning knowledge into profits is likely way more than you have ever done.
Merry Christmas tough guy.
Get back to your fantasy football.Comment -

#17what do we think the spread would be for a Saints\Packers matchup in GB?
That is game everyone wants to see... but it seems to me in years past, the game that everyone wants to see seldom happens.Comment -

That's what I think it would be if the game were tomorrow. Who knows what it will be after more performances by both teams in their last 2 regular season games and in the playoffs, not to mention injuries.Comment -
