Oddsmakers are trending with the high scoring West games this week. Totals of 56 and 58.5 are significantly higher than usual. Both home teams are slight 3 point favorites.

Picks and previews to follow on wednesday.

No early leans yet........I Can't wait for this week's action.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders and the Edmonton Eskimos are hot right now
Oddsmakers currently have the Eskimos listed as 3point favorites versus the Roughriders, while the game's total is sitting at 56.
The Roughriders were defeated 30-25 by the Stampeders last time out, as 2-point favorites at home. The 55 points made it OVER the posted total of 52. Marcus Crandell threw for 259 yards, completing 20-of-33 pass attempts with two touchdowns in the Roughriders loss.
The Eskimos lost to B.C. 40-34 as a 6-point underdog last time out. The combined score went OVER the posted over/under total (55). Ricky Ray threw for 436 yards with four touchdowns and three interceptions for Edmonton in that game, and Kamau Peterson had a pair of TD receptions.

        Saskatchewan: 6-1 SU, 5-2 ATS
        Edmonton: 4-3 SU, 4-1-2 ATS
Saskatchewan is 5-0 SU in its last 5 games on the road
Saskatchewan is 5-0 ATS in its last 5 games on the road

Small lean on Edmonton -3. Tiny bet.

I feel there will be alot of running and defensive stops.

My play for the game will be under 56.

        Good Luck

I like the Sask-Edm game to go under and Calgary to cover as the dog.

The Calgary Stampeders and the British Columbia Lions have identical records at 4-3. Who will be in last place after this game?? Oddsmakers currently have the Lions listed as 3-point favorites versus the Stampeders, while the game's total is sitting at 58. The Stampeders just handed the injury-riddled Roughriders their first loss of the season with a 30-25 upset win in Week 7. Joffrey Reynolds ran for 128 yards off 24 carries with a TD in the win. The Lions defeated Edmonton 40-34 a couple of weeks ago in a high scoring afair. Simon probably back from missing 2 games due to injuries.
                  Calgary: 4-3 SU, 4-3 ATS
British Columbia: 4-3 SU, 2-4-1 ATS
British Columbia is 5-0 SU in its last 5 games when playing at home against Calgary

I so want to take the over here but find it too high......In the past I would have wagered over regardless of the total.

This game will be close.........NO total pick for this one

                  TAKE BC -3 -105

Good Luck and lets get another perfect week.

Two things I don’t like about having the Stamps tonight: a) Going against you. B) Just how unimpressive their last two games against the Roughriders look after last night’s game.
