I was? Did I guarantee anything? Say it was a lock, or I'm going big on this, which is what so many posters do these days? It was my opinion. Pats almost shit the bed and didn't cover, but didn't lose SU. I was admittedly way off on the Packers, but again, I wasn't "so sure" about anything.

As for being "way off" in NCAAB, I lost 23 units on Iowa State at the start of my thread (a very square play where I ignored line movement and took a huge public play) and I've been digging my way out ever since. In the black since then, but down for the year. Long season ahead.

This place is funny -- I posted a huge winner on Indiana Saturday, and posted quite a few NFL winners yesterday (for the fifth straight week I didn't lose a dime), but the minute something crashes and burns (which is inevitable with everyone in gambling), the cretins commence.

Really most of the forum is good for insight. If you can't make YOUR OWN PLAY, you probably shouldn't be betting.

While I use some information on this forum to help establish a gameplan, I make my own bets. I sure as hell don't go around blaming others.

I'm not a "sharp." I may make "sharp" plays every once in a while, but so do a lot of people. I'm a small, recreational gambler who really enjoys this as a hobby. Nothing more.

And it only makes sense that I'd be compared to LB -- he taught me a lot. I'm not going to shy away from that.

Out of curiosity, why don't you raise your stakes and BR? You clearly devote serious time to sports investment and if you have proven to yourself that you are a long term winner, then I think you are selling yourself short and could be providing substantial extra revenue for your family if you aporoached this more seriously. If you believe in yourself, there should be no reason to stay at $20 units. At the very least you shoud be incrementally increasing your unit stake as you continue to profit. It seems like you have been doing this for a long time, yet you stay with such small wagers. Why? If you just went up to $100 per unit, you would have made $2k on the ncaaf season. Im sure that money could help the fam. I understand you do this for fun and don't want to hurt your family by losing. However, if youve proven yourself as a long term winner at $20 per unit, why would think you cannot do the same at $100 per unit or more?
