#3im leaning TEN +5.5, wait the line dropped to +3.5 / +4 SHIT!!! i like ATL -3. crappy lines this week. maybe just lay every penny to my name on BAL moneyline. yeah, its TEN + the points or pass. the heavy hitters are sniffin' out the upsets and leaving us with little value.Comment -

#4Saints away from the Superdome this year:
Last second loss to Green Bay
Beat Jags by 13
Needed a TD in the last minute to beat Carolina
Lost to Tampa Bay and were down 13 at one point
Blasted by St. Louis, down 24 at one point
Beat Atlanta off a horrendous 4th down decision by Mike Smith in OT
Definitely play their best ball at home.. score 39.8 PPG and give up 18.3 PPG (+21.5 differential) at the Superdome, score 25.3 PPG and give up 26.5 PPG (-1.2 differential) on the road. Take away the Colts game and they're still +14.8 at home.Comment -

#10my take:
For the Saints Drew Brees puts up a lot of yards and points.. at the Superdome. When forced to play outside their in the elements, the Saints are -1.2 in point differential. They lost to the Rams.. the freaking Rams.. on the road. Not to mention the untouchable Brees got beat up and abused on his way to throwing 4 picks (3 to Mr. Monday Night, Keith Bulluck) last time we faced him.
Big 12 teams ion college have a reputation for being all offense, no defense.. well, here's your NFL version of that. The Saints are giving up more than 26 PPG on the road, are 27th in the league in yards allowed, 24th in QB rating allowed, and 30th in YPC allowed. They've been known for creating turnovers under Gregg Williams, but they're 30th in the league in forced turnovers, only ahead of the Colts and Dolphins. Basically, they're not very good.
Titans Thooooo... haveChris Johnson who once again dominated despite illness (takes notes, Peyton Hillis you pusssssy) and should continue to roll this week against a weak defense. Nate Washington is questionable this week, so we'll need Damian Williams to have one of his better games if Nate is out. He's allowed to have one of his better games if Nate is playing as well. The offensive line is continuing to get better and should stay that way.
Titans on the defensive line need to get after Brees all game, first of all. Now is the time for Klug, Morgan, and Jones to have one of their best performances. They have tons of receivers Brees likes to utilize, so we need Jason McCourty to recover from his concussion and keep our secondary at full strength for this game. I don't know whose guarding Jimmy Graham, but it won't be that bad with Barrett Ruud spending the game on the sideline.
Colin Mccarthey FTW

#19Why would the Saints lose this game??? Because they are playing on natural grass and won't have a roof over their head?
You guys gotta be kidding me.
How can you not take Drew Brees when he's been on fire as of late?
Titans cannot compare to this team.
its Saints for me or no play... but i am playing them

- The Titans pass rush is not going to affect Brees consistently. They're near the bottom in sacks while NO's OL is 3rd in pass protection.
I can understand playing the Titans in this spot, but disagree with this being a spot to play it heavy.Comment -

#25sacks means nothing to me.. QB pressures.. hits and knockdowns.. The TE stat is a little misleading.. RUUD was in for the first half of the season and he is shit against the TE.. now that mccarthey is in there TE production has went DOWN.. mccarthey is decent in coverage.. and seems to be a playmaker.. I do agree that grahm is a beast though.. The titans should stay with in the number and have a great chance to win..Comment -

#28I think the play is on the over..
The Saints are still a much better team than the Titans and have too many weapons for the Titans to stop.. The Titans should be able to score a lot of points because the Saints defense usually plays terrible on the road, and CJ has been playing much better recently..Comment -

I do not think Graham will be McCarthy's responsibility in this one. Not with Darrin Sproles running around like a flea.
They are going to have to play the MLB a lot closer to the line in coverage and leave Graham to Michael Griffin for the most part.
This is going to be a big test for McCarthy in any case, the kid is a beast and a natural at that position but lets see if he is ready for this.Comment -

#33You have already touched on the keys to this game. If Nate Washington does not go with that high ankle sprain the field gets a lot smaller for CJ. Washington says that he will be no where near 100% if he does play. Willams and Hawkins have been nice under the radar but by no means warrant safety help. That is gonna allow SS Roman Harper some leeway to help against Johnson and Harper is a very good player against the run. My guess is that CJ does not pile up the yardage this week like he did the last two.
If McCourty can't play with that concussion Brees is gonna have some fun. McCourty is by far the best cover corner on that team.
I do not see how the Titans get it done here without those guys.Comment -

#34Since the Saints lost to St. Louis, they've really been much more consistent. Read an article that after that loss, Brees and the whole team got together and called each other out, held people accountable, and have played like their talent level suggests.
They are one of the few elite, bankable teams in the NfL right now, and every game counts right now in a tight playoffs race. During this point of the season, this is when the elite teams play consistent, good football - I bet elite teams against mediocre teams BIG during this time of the season each year, and stay away from toss-up games (ie. good team vs good team, mediocre teams against bad teams)
See the Saints rolling BIG and taking care of business.Comment -
