NFL Weekend: 3 Hot System Plays
The only sensible way to play the NFL preseason is to scour the Net for reports of what this or that HC says about the upcoming game - how long his starters will play, and other indications that he wants to win the game, not just practice for the regular season.

But I ain't a gonna sit before this accursed screen while the sun is shining, the beach bunnies are wiggling, and the surf is rollin' --- or when I can't cause I'm on the road actually working, damn that curse!

So a few years ago I saw what looked like a combination of factors in a few teams that won certain preseason games. Laziness compelled me to put it into a system. Hot damn, another system born!!

In 2004 it went 4-0 ATS. 05 I had no plays on it. I did well in 06 but lost the records. Last preseason I went 4-1 ATS.

So far this preseason I'm 1-0 - but only on paper. I stayed at the beach too long one evening (beer and burger party, I don't eat red meat so had to drink only beer) and missed the bet. Sh1t.

End of rant. Have a big three teams for the weekend, and just bet 'em with the only book I have right now. (Will be re-upping soon - let's see, 5 dimes, sky, maybe one or two more; offshore nowadays is like swimming near riptides)

    SAT: JACKSONVILLE -4 (Miami)
    SUN: TAMPA BAY +1.5 (NE)
    MON: GIANTS -2.5 (Cleveland)

And remember, the landfills of the world are chock full of systems that worked for a while and then colllapsed like the house of cards almost all of them in fact are.

I have a natural instinct to exploit market ineffieciencies!!

It isolates two key factors, in combo, and that the opponent has neither one.

I'll reveal the great secret when it goes 1-5 for the preseason.

I was thinking of tailing your picks. So I would hope it doesn't go 1-5 in the preseason

Had no plays last week in NFLX.

But have four, yes FOUR, this week.

In week One I was 1-0 - but ya gotta take my word for it as I didn't get to bet it (beach party). Did post 3 picks for week 2, went 2-1 ATS.

So I'm 3-1 this season, with this last week to go. (And to SM you were wise to stay off Jags in Wk 2)

Plays are: Giants -2 (NE) Hoping Brady stays out; Bill usually likes to win some preseason games, but not as much since Pats became as gods. Hope they go 0-4.

Tampa Bay +1 (Houston) Gruden solid off preseason loss, tho Houston may be out to win last X game, and at home.

Kansas City -4 (St Louis) Looking for these suckers to bounce back in front of the home folks and show some O.

Oakland +3 (Seattle) Another bounce-backer, tho Holmgren often plays this last PS game tough.

It's a system, so these could go 0-4. (Tho same with brainpowered handicapping) But unlike 'capping, where the 'capper must take the rap if headfirst into toilet ------ I'll just blame it on the system. THE SYSTEM MADE ME DO IT . . . . .
