why do they cover this week?

i'm staying away from this game because the bucs are too unpredictable/crappy, but whats your reasoning? would like to hear why they will beat the bucs.

personally, i hope they lose so that jake locker era can finally start, or i hope they win but win on a locker comeback so that the titans can actually have some outside playoff miracle hope, because with locker they are a MUCH better team.

i wouldn't look to lowly on bay. the only struggle they have is scoring. they able find that last week, so this can be upset.

tampa is One of the worst tackling teams in the league. Have more missed tackles the last 3 weeks than the 49ers have all year. Gerald McCoy on IR, prompting his coach to make fun of him for arm tackling. Ronde Barber is still in the NFL. Aqib Talib is still in the NFL, snitching on his momma so he could stay out of jail (classy). They have Albert Haynesworth, who like Blount, won't be doing anything since we can neutralize him.
Josh Freeman is one of the most inconsistent QBs in the league. First QB to ever begin regressing before turning 24 years old. Mike Williams doesn't seem to care at times. Arrelious Benn is average. Kellen Winslow is a ok.
titans Defensive line will to generate pressure and throw Freeman off rhythm like we did to Killa Cam 2 weeks ago.
rookie colin mcarthey will be able to neutralize blount.. mccarthey is a fukin beast

also on locker..he has a chance to become a good NFL QB, and sitting behind Hass is certainly not going to hurt his chances, but I agree with the others, absolutely no way he would've made it to the 2nd round last year. Probably not even a few spots passed where we got him. I believe either the Vikings or Redskins said themselves that we got the quarterback they wanted.

I still stand by what I said last year, there is no other QB I would've taken at our spot. And make no bones about it, with the lockout looming, we needed a quarterback. The agreement of the new CBA in time for us to sign Hasselbeck was a blessing, but none the less, I still stand by the GM/coaching staff on that draft decision. However, ayers was a reach. That kid was the definition of raw coming out of college...and we brought him in with immediate expectations that I thought were unattainable. With that said, I still have hopes for him. He has come on in at least some capacity over the last few weeks.

Titans are fighting for their playoff lives. They still have a shot, bucs season is shot and they put too much into the GB game. Non-conference road game followed by that game is a death sentence for tampa. Titans are a solid lean this week.

titans fighting for playoff life is not a valid argument b/c they had plenty of 'divisional' and 'big games' where they completely flattened out and sucked. no play for me, but good sign for u titans backers that the public is 60% on TB

I still like the angle of a possible egg from tampa after fighting hard to come back against the pack. It's feeling more and more like the titans will be the more focused team.

Tampa certainly has looked very poor on the defensive end all year. They cannot stop the run to save themselves.

Wow have they played a tough schedule and faced some brutal travel; 8 of their games against top 10 opponents. The only bottom tiered opponents they have faced all year are Indy and Minnesota. They won both of those but did not cover the 9 to Indy at home.

Tennesse is not a top 10 team have had no run game to speak of but I like their chances this week if Jake Scott can handle fat Albert and block someone for a change. The Titan line has sucked to run block all year and they are as much at fault for CJ's lousy year. If CJ can get to that linebacking crew it is over. That is the slowest set of linebackers in the league in my estimation.

No secret if the Titan's stop Blount they probably win. Linebackers a bit banged up including the kid McCarthy who had to take a day off in practice to rest a bum knee.

No opinion on the side but I think both teams will be able to move the ball a bit. I thought the total was a bit short and am interested. The weather report may drive the number down as it is forecast to rain all night tonight and tomorrow. Winds will die down tomorrow and will not be a factor. I will wait and see if I can get a bet down # at game time.
