Week Eleven - picks and thoughts
3-2 last week; Cleveland's botched-snap field goal miss likely cost me a rather excellent 4-1 Sunday, but (sh)it happens.

Struggling to find much to play with this week. My methods include spotting certain statistical anomalies that might be exploitable and these tend to become less common as the season wears on. I'm forcing some bets a bit because while I take winning very seriously, this is supposed to be fun too, isn't it?

    Seahawks @ Rams
This is one of those bets that will either look brilliant tomorrow night, or will have me muttering "I backed Seattle on the road?!". Still, I think the 'Hawks have the better quarterback and defense and I have a feeling they might have enough about them to overcome their travel sickness here. I won't be watching, though!
Mystic Limey forsees: Seattle 20 - 13 St Louis
    8 units Seahawks +3

    Raiders @ Vikings
I've developed a curious soft spot for the Raiders, maybe partly because I enjoy watching an unfit European show y'all how easy kicking really is. That aside, I don't fancy their chances in this game. I think their strengths and weaknesses match up badly with the Vikings, and unless Carson Palmer can dominate the game I have this down as a home win.
Mystic Limey forsees: Oakland 16 - 24 Minnesota
6 units Vikings ML at 5/6 odds

    Bengals @ Ravens
Andy Dalton and the Cincinnatti Bengals must be the season's most criminally ignored QB and team. That doesn't mean I'm super-confident that they'll fare well in Maryland, the only place the Ravens have been consistent this season, but they must have a legitimate shot. I'm anticipating both offenses struggling here, so believe that the seven point underdogs are well worth a look.
Mystic Limey hopes: Cincinnatti 18 - 17 Baltimore
5 units Bengals +7, 2 units Bengals ML at 5/2 odds

I'm also throwing in two money-line accumulator (as we call them in England) bets, because I just can't stand only having an interest in three games all weekend:

    3 units Vikings and Dolphins

    8 units Lions and Packers

I can't believe the season is so far through, already... Enjoy your NFL weekend!
