Anyone know any trends with Ray Lewis being out? Does the defense dip at all? He's not their best player, but he is the heart and soul of that defense. I'm thinking this may allow Cinci to keep it a bit closer?

I remember a game against Cleveland who had 0 or 3 points kind of late when Lewis got injured; Cleveland nearly came back from like 3 touchdowns down. This was ~10 years ago, though: younger Lewis, different team.Comment -

Here are the most important things you need to know about this game.
The Ravens have a real hard time playing against a 4/3 defence. They don't see it a ton and have never played well against that set.
Combined with Flacco's historical difficulty throwing against a cover two set this makes it a real tough spot here for them.
If Green cannot go or is limited it is gonna be Jermaine Gresham and Cedric Benson who beat the Ravens. Entirely possible with a limited Dannell Ellerbe (hamstring) expected to see a lot of Ray Ray's reps.
That number has fallen below 7 at a lot of outs. I think the smart guys may see it the same way as I laid it out here.Comment -

Ray Lewis matters very little on this game as the line indicates.
His impact is overrated. All he does is talk and celebrate then lose any important game.
What's he going to do, get a couple tackles, jump on the pile and get credit for a couple more. BFD. They can find anybody to do that.
