Will Matt Forte Set The All Time Total Yards Record???
he's got about 1241 yards in 8 games so far - on pace for 2490 yards on the season (just about 10-20 off the pace set by Chris Johnson). However, the Bears seem to be much more committed to the run recently (which is why Forte's yards his last 5 games is incredible - 137 rush yards a game) and their schedule gets much much easier the 2nd half (they play a lot of crappy run defenses like Oakland and Detroit). Also the Bears offensive line is playing with tremendous confidence and seems to be improving every week - you gotta figure they will dominate the 2nd half of the season

I actually think Forte will finish this season with close to 2000 rush yards and about 500-600 receiving yards.

Potential injury aside, I don't really see anyone stopping him from keeping that pace going.

no martz will probably get bored and start throwing alot and put the bears back to having problems.me living in chicago and knowing how cheap the gm is ,they will try to slow him down unless they sign him during season

And it hasn't translated to the Bears being overvalued in the lines yet because people still seem to view the Bears as a team with one good player and a QB that gets sacked fifty times a game. Their game against the Lions is going to be a great one.

It depends on the Bears schedule against teams with weak run defense. And other running backs in the league and their schedule against teams with the weak run defenses.

This will determine the likely running back to lead the most running yards by the end of the regular season.
