Mostly 3.5, which is 9.5 at home. Standard Line. Even inflated.
Line opened 4.5... Skins should cover.

I don't even know where to begin with this comment. WSH QB problems (choice of Beck or Grossman-fun), O-Line gave up 9 sacks to a BUFF team that had only 4 total prior to the TOR game, injuries-Moss, Cooley, Hightower, Choice (?) out, SF top in pts/game, rush yds/game, Aldon Smith (SF OLB) candidate for def. rookie of the year, SF rolling and WSH severely stumbling. Good luck if you're on Redskins.

I don't like the Redskins at +3, but the public will be pounding on San Fran this week, so the spread may improve for the Redskins by week end.
If the line shifts to around +5 for the Skins : sharp bet IMO

I'm a long time diehard Skins fan (go ahead and post your jokes). I follow them pretty religiously and I just don't see how the Niners don't win this game and cover at least 4 pts. They're getting the Skins at just the right time: they have a ton of people out (Williams, Moss, Cooley, etc.), a lousy, no, probably 2 lousy QB's and they still don't really have anyone to throw to anyway (outside of TE Fred Davis). Sure, Washington is fairly tough at home but if you're going to take the Niners I would take it early as this line will climb thru the week to probably 4 or 5, maybe even 5.5. What casual fans might miss (and it sounds like the OP did) is the Skins actually have an above average defense, in fact leading up to the Bills contest, it was top 10. The problem? Zero offensive firepower and a defense that consequently spends all day on the field and eventually wears down. A safer bet may be taking the Skins pt total or even the game total (it's already dropped down to 37.5 btw). The Niners will stifle the Skins, the question is, can the Niners offense put up enough to cover the line (they did almost blow the spread against a very marginal Browns outfit, granted that line was 9.5). Just thought I'd contribute something to help fellow bettors out here. I'd love to be proven wrong here and see my team win Sunday but I just don't see it...

Washington wins outright... niners are the trap of the week...

Good post!!
Fred Davis is banged up and may not play. That O-line will not improve until Williams gets that ankle healed.
That being said the defense is not at all poor and needs some ball control from the offence to succeed. The problem here is that no-one has run the ball at all on the Niners this year and the Skins have no shot to do so,
I see 17-6 or 13-3 Niners somewhere in all this. And that worries me with this number. A kick return or a defensive score could ruin someone's day and the Skins are more than capable of both. Any more than 3 is a crap shoot and any less is a bad play.
I am staying away from this one. They almost frittered away a cover against the Brownies at home. The Redskins are no worse than Cleveland and are at home here.

The 49ers is a solid play.
Just like many weeks ago that the Panthers was a good spot against the Jaguars.
And the Saints against the Colts.
The trap bet for Week 9 should be either the Eagles bet, Saints bet or Ravens bet.

Thanks. The thing that scares me about the game (which I won't bet on because I don't ever bet for/against my team, is the fact that SF doesn't put up a ton of pts (I'm excluding TB because if you watched that game the Bucs quit). With that said, were I to bet the under of some pt total bet for either side, is probably a wiser play.

Big Bear 49ers have already traveled East this season and beat the Eagles. A much better team then the Skins so i don't think travel will factor in on this. Skins do look like a mess right now.

I actually read that thread. There is nothing significant what so ever in it. Nothing factual not a shard of insight into the games. Just a bunch of BS.
Who the fuk is gonna follow that. If anyone is that stupid I feel badly for them.

The injures and poor OL on the Redskins side makes the 49ers play very good.
