Broncos +9 Against the Raiders

-9 seems really high for a team that got steamrolled by the Chiefs at home.

Not saying im a strong advocate of this pick, just curious to hear other people's thoughts on this line.

I think the Broncos are better off with Orton for now anyway. Tebow is all hype and needs to develop more before he can be a legit starter in this league.

Still, -9 is really high no matter if Orton or Tebow is starting.

I can see both teams implementing a run first offense considering how sketchy both teams' QB situations are. I see this game being an ugly fight for field position with lots of FG's and punts but not many TD's.

I think the Raiders win by double digits pretty easily. Tebow is not good. He borderline sucks.

The raiders are coming off a bye week that featured extra work put in by Palmer and the receivers so I expect Palmer to be much better this time around.

The Raiders have also just signed TJ Houshmandzadeh who played with Palmer previously. Add to taht that Darren McFadden is finally healthy after a foot injury slowed him down.

Raiders win by 10+.

At the moment a carson palmer-led team cannot cover 9 points against anyone except MAYBE indi. he will struggle this week and probably the rest of the season. He's a rusty qb with skills that have already eroded over the past few years.

This! I live in DC. Have watched them play for the last 7 years and can tell you this is the beginning of the end for the season. They probably have one more cover in them against a good team but its not this week.

As was said Darren McFadden is looking more likely to NOT play this game from every report I've read. With the new CBA Palmer actually didnt get much playing time at all during the bye because they only allow so much practice now. Plus Palmer is just as bad as Tebow in my opinion, atleast tebow can scramble. TJ has almost 0 work with the offense so don't expect him to make much of a difference at all this week or the next few weeks. I'm not betting the game but I would take the broncos and the points.
