Greed or Guaranteed

I have a $400 3 team parlay and the last team i need is SD-3. do i hedge and take a guaranteed profit? do i get greedy and hope and pray SD does what i feel they are capable of? or do i just bet $400 on KC +3 to make sure i do not lose anything if SD does not cover? it seems like an easy decision to take guaranteed money but i risked this money with the intention of winning BIG. what would u do?

if 400 is an amount that you can comfortably lose and move on to next parlay, then keep your balls against the wall and hope for a cover. if you feel that you are in over your head, hedge out

Bet the 400 on kc. Try to get it at 3.5 or 4.

im not worried about losing $400.00, i just feel stupid when there is guaranteed money and i dont take it.

thats what im thinking........u can look at it the other way too, if KC jumps out quick it could end up being a painful game to watch. if i didnt have this parlay i would prob take SD for around 300-400 anyways so i might as well let it ride. any other thoughts from anyone as to what i should do????

Honestly for me it would all depend how my season was going so far. If I was up big already, or this was a one time bet i'd let it ride. If however I was kind of struggling I would probably hedge and take the guaranteed money.

i am up a decent amount for the year but down this week due to ugly ugly saturday......right now i am leaning at letting it ride but everything i am reading is saying KC in tight game

I personally have KC +3.5 but honestly KC could just come out flat. If you let it ride at least one of us would win tonight! lol

Yea your prob right.......the fckd up thing about this game is I may end up putting more down on sd-3. It's usually games like this that burn me hard.......

ok here is what im thinking..u must have had in mind a hedge all along. there where other games yday to be played, yet u choose 2nites game? most parlay players will play 1 late game to opt out.. yes ? take the and run

I just don't get why ppl r so high on kc. They have not beat anyone yet this year. I'm not saying sd is a lot better than them but I have never been too high on cassell and they lost their stud rb earlier in the year. IMO sd has the better qb, better rb, better receivers/te and similar D.....maybe slight edge to kc for the d but other than that sd has em beat. I know that does not always mean a W but this is a big game for sd coming off that ugly 2nd half to the jets. I can see kc coming out with bigs heads and getting run all over in their own house........but what do I know

Cover the 400 with a bet on KC then pull for the Chargers to cover knowing that at the worst, you'll break even.
