In the NYDaily News, the Jets writer spoke about a rumor that's been going around the NFL this week. It has the Jets trading with the Raiders come draft day. They'd swap 1st round picks (never mentioned what else would be involved, pick-wise) so the Raiders could draft a QB and the Jets would use the 7th pick on the big DT Hagoli Ngata. The thinking being that the Jets want a big nose tackle for the 3-4.
I always thought the Jets should try and get Ferguson but Ngata is clearly the top DT in the draft. If they've soured on Robertson that much, go for it. You could always use the later 1st round pick on offense.
