Hall of Fame quarterback Warren Moon pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of negligent driving after being charged with DUI stemming his arrest on Dec. 28.
Moon, 51, received a 90-day jail sentence, with 88 of those days suspended. He must serve either two days in jail or five days of electronically monitored home detention. He was fined $1,000 with $500 of that total suspended.
Jon Scott Fox, Moon's attorney, said the sentence must be completed in the next 30 to 45 days. According to the court docket, Moon will be on probation for two years. He was ordered not to consume alcohol for 24 months.
