Predictions for TV Ratings: SNF and MNF vs World Series Gm's 4 and 5

I've always been really intrigued by TV ratings. Lately, SNF anad MNF have been nearly doubling the ratings of the MLB playoffs.

Anyone think that these 2 weak football games (Colts/Saints and Ravens/Jags) will get more viewers than the World Series games?

I love baseball, but it is losing a lot of public appeal. I think more people would rather watch the Ravens pound the Jags than the World series.

Baseball would gain popularity if they changed the game. Make it 4 innings instead of 9 and instead of overtime do a home-run style derby like in NHL shootout. Overtime is 1 inning long. Imagine the amount of betting/viewing? would be insane lots of teams would have a shot to win the world series and all the markets would make money

Baseball's problem is that it goes against everything the typical American wants to see.

I'm a pretty big baseball fan, but I hate to say it. I'll probably be watching more of the football games than the baseball game. A lot of it has to do with that I bet on football and not baseball, but also my fantasy team. But even if I did neither, I think I'd find myself wanting to watch more of the football. I'd probably watch the baseball just because it is the world series, but I'd find the urge to flip it to the football game.
