Palmer hasn't been a franchise qb since 2005...then his knee got blown out in the playoffs, then he ended up with a VERY bum throwing elbow which sapped him of his arm strength rendering him a mediocre qb. The original poster clearly didn't notice this and somehow the front office of a professional football team also missed it. The last time they went to the playoffs it was only because of their vastly underrated defense under mike zimmer which yet again is carrying the team beyond anyone's expectations.

The Raiders will be haunted by this trade for the next 5 years at least.

Chargers are still the class of the West, they are actually winning games this year during their typically slow start (how does Norv keep his job?). They will pull away once they go on their yearly late-season charge. Heck, with their early bye week this year, they might start strutting their stuff early vs. the Jets this week.

Am I the only one that thinks palmer will be successful on the raiders? The raiders offense is based on their running game now with mcfadden being the #1 RB in the league. You will see the raiders keep on using him in the offense as always and that will setup palmer with the play action to get some good passes in from time to time. I don't see him being the next Brady but he sure is a better QB than campbell was.

Palmer used to have a rocket-arm similar to Peyton but after that knee injury he just hasn't been the same. Didn't he have TommyJohn surgery a couple years ago too? He may be healed physically but the psychological hurdle of overcoming what he went through will be the greater test.

That being said, the AFC West is a crapshoot (except Denver) and I think they have a decent chance of winning the division.

Yes is juiced because Bodog is a square book and they have this prop up because of Palmer so all the squares can line up and pay the price.

The limits are I'm sure very low so no one will be able to take advantage of it in a sharp way anyway.
